Andrew "Andy" Michael Ondrik

Andrew “Andy” Michael Ondrik, age 81, passed away September 9, 2017.  He was born August 11, 1936 in Canonsburg, PA.

Andy was a member of Prince of Peace Church, served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from Babcock & Wilcox with 29 years of service.  He loved his family, animals and dogs.

Preceded in death by baby daughter, Margaret Ann; parents, Andrew Sr. and Ann Ondrik; and sister, Joanne Brown.

Survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary C.; sons, John (Debi) and James; daughter, Kathleen (Robert) Shafer; grandchildren, Matthew Ondrik and Nacole Fowler; and great-granddaughter, Olivia.

Family would like to thank the hospice nurses, Kristine and Nikki, nurse’s aide, Nancy, and the Eucharistic Ministers from Prince of Peace.

Committal service with military honors will be held, MONDAY, September 25, 2017 at 1:00pm  at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd. Seville, OH  44273 with Fr. Robert Jackson officiating.

Memorial donations in Andy’s name may be made to Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary in Ravenna or Medina County SPCA.
