Anthony "Tony" Joseph Sandi

Mr. Anthony Joseph "Tony" Sandi was called home unexpectedly at his residence, August 23, 2017 in Wadsworth, Ohio at the young age of 53.

Tony  is survived by his sisters, Theresa (Dave) Seifert, Regina (Craig) Lewis, and brother Eric Sandi, his loving nieces Michelle, Caitlyn, Emily, Natasha, Brittni, and nephews, Logan, Dylan, and Orion; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.   He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald A and Shirley B Sandi.

Tony was born on April 19, 1964 in Lancaster, Ohio to Donald and Shirley Sandi. He graduated from Logansport High School, in Indiana in 1982 then attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.  He was employed by ICS Laboratories in Brunswick and also Rizzi's in Copley.

Tony joined the Boy Scouts of America as a youngster and was proud to become an Eagle Scout. An avid car lover, he truly enjoyed the open road and traveled frequently. His love of politics never failed to lead to many great debates. Tony appreciated relaxing with a classic movie or a good book.  Although a private person, he could always be counted on to help a friend or neighbor.  We will all miss his quick wit and beautiful smile.

A memorial service is scheduled for SATURDAY at 2:00pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth, Ohio with a few loving words spoken by his close friend, Don Bolich. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 1:00-2:00pm at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tony's life.  The family would like to thank Bill, Don, and everyone at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home for their friendship and help during this difficult time.
