Beulah Good (Horst) Amstutz

Beulah Good (Horst) Amstutz, entered into eternal rest on September 30, 2017 at the age of 87 years. She was lovingly surrounded by family after a period of declining health at the home of her daughter, Barbara. She lived in the Wadsworth area most of her life. She was a member of the Maple Hill Mennonite Church.

She was born March 9, 1930 to the late Abram and Elsie (Eberly) Good near Wadsworth, Ohio.

She was married to Ernest M. Horst for 53 years. He preceded her in death in 2006. She and Ernest started Acme Farm Market which is now west of Wadsworth.

On April 26, 2008 she married John L. Amstutz. He also preceded her in death in 2013.

Surviving are her seven children, Barbara (Denis) Good of Elkton, MD, David (Carolyn) of North Fairfield, OH, Donna (Charles) Steiner of Eaton, OH, Rhoda (Marcus)Steiner of Cambridge Springs, PA, Ruth (Richard) Weaver of Dongola, IL, Jason (Mary Ann) of Hope, IN, and James (Miriam) of Wadsworth, OH; 1 daughter-in-law, Becky (Eugene) Kreider; 62 grandchildren; 115 great-grandchildren; nine step-children, Clayton (Rose Anne) Amstutz of Edinburgh, IN, John E. (Carol) of Wadsworth, OH, Merle (Marilyn) of Apple Creek, OH, Anna (Elvin) Deiter of Dover, PA, Walter (Jean) of Rittman, OH, Naomi of Gap, PA, Jacob (Phyllis) of Dalton Gardens, ID, Catharine of Holmesville, OH, and Mabel (Donald) Hertzler of Veuita, NM; also step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pauline Ressler of Wadsworth, OH.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mabel, Mary and Esther; son, Philip R. Horst; grandson, Ethan R. Good; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends, TUESDAY, October 3, 2017 from 1:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at Northside Christian Church, 7615 Ridge Road (State Route 94) Wadsworth, Ohio. Funeral services will be held, WEDNESDAY, October 4, 2017 at 10:00am at Northside Christian Church.
