Captola "Cappie" Police

Captola Edith Police, known as “Cappie” was born August 8, 1923 to Clifford and Lillian Noggle. She is the last of her seven siblings - sisters Ruth Noggle, Violet Freed, Gayle Slabaugh and Opal Ream and brothers Gene, Max  and Jack Noggle. She passed away on August 17, 2016 at the age of 93. 

She was married on March 25, 1942 to Raymond Joseph Police. They had three daughters. She is survived by Vicki Laslo (Rick) of Doylestown and MaryJo Marshall (Jeff) of Medina. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1996 and her daughter Rae Lee Shepherd in 1985. 

Grandchildren: Heather Shepherd, Todd Laslo (Brigitte), Matthew Laslo, Misty Brown (Tim), Mandy Brand (Shawn), Joshua Laslo, Benjamin Marshall and Sarah Marshall; ten  great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 23 from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday, August 24 from 10-11 a.m. with service at 11:00 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home, Inc. 1376 High Street, on Route 94 in Wadsworth OH. 

Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery on West Street in Wadsworth. 

Contributions can be made to the Hospice of your choice.
