Carol A Keith

Carol A. Keith, age 68, of Barberton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018, surrounded by her beloved daughters.

She was born on November 25th, 1949 to Frank Prosen and Ruth Nevling.  She married Dave M. Keith on March 29th, 1973 in Las Vegas, NV. 

Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, David; her son, Anthony “Tony” G. Keith; her parents and brother; Thomas Nevling.

She is survived by son, Joe (Tina) Keith of Barberton; daughters, Carla (Shawn) Greene, of Akron and Leann (Chad) Wenzel, of Canton; seven grandchildren; brothers, Dennis (Jan) Hoctor and Robert (Nancy) Prosen; along with extended family and friends.

Carol was a devoted mother and grandmother that loved nothing more than spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids. She also enjoyed shopping, crafting, coloring, and never missed an episode of Criminal Minds. She was a proud member of the Lebron James Grandmothers club and a devoted Cleveland Cavaliers fan.

She had a big, fun-loving personality and there was never a place Carol went that she did not make new friends. She will be forever missed and loved by everyone she has touched.

A private service and burial will be held at Lakewood Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.
