Carol Jean Swank

Carol J. Swank, age 77, of Wadsworth, passed away, Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Carol had been in declining health for the past 18 months.

Born February 25, 1940 in Carleton, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Christine (Esper) Wright. She was married to Kenneth Swank for over 50 years. Together, they raised four children. Kenneth preceded her in death on August 7, 2009.

Carol is survived by her four children, Greg (Karla) of Dellroy, Ohio, Connie (Ted) Marosi of Bay Village, Ohio, Jeff of Wadsworth, and Ken (Katie) of Mayfield; grandchildren, Matt Marosi, Lauren (Derrick) Edmonds, Sarah Marosi, and Nathan Swank; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Naomi Edmonds; sisters, Shirley Jaworski of Temple, Texas, Dolores Beckinger of Flat Rock, Michigan, and Mary Jane Fleszar of Lakewood, Ohio; brother-in-law, David Conaway of Michigan; and beloved dog, Molly.

In addition to her parents and husband, Carol is also preceded in death by four sisters; Rosemary Conaway, Dorothy Morris, Maybelle Gillison, and Marjorie Kuderick; brother, Gerald Wright; brothers-in-law, George Morris, Charles Kuderick, Edward Jaworski, Robert Beckinger, and Jack Fleszar; and sister-in-law, Ilene Wright.

Memorial Services will be held, MONDAY, February 19, at 3:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 1:00-3:00pm at the funeral home.
