Danny Waite

TOGETHER AGAIN -- Danny Waite, age 98, loving Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather was released from his earthly bonds February 12, 2018 at Aultman Hospice. He was born January 10, 1920 in Hopewell, PA. Danny was a member of the Barberton Church of God. He was an avid bowler; belonging to two different leagues in Barberton, and was a huge Cleveland Indians fan. Danny dropped out of school to work in the coal mines. He served proudly in the Army during World War II as a medic in Anzio, Italy. He then worked and retired from Seiberling as a tire builder. Danny loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Phyllis; 3 sisters, and 5 brothers. Danny is survived by one brother, Boyd of Madison, OH, sister-in-law Donna Donelson of Barberton, OH, his children, Danny Jr. of Canal Fulton, OH, Dennis (Lois) Waite of Jericho, VT, Deb (Roy) Crenshaw of Seffner, FL, and Pam (Brad) Kenney of North Canton, OH; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends, FRIDAY, February 16, from 6:00-8:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. Funeral Services will be held, SATURDAY at 10:00am at the funeral home with Pastors Chuck Erbe & Alice Pol officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron. In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Barberton Church of God, 885 Summit St N, Barberton, OH 44203.
