Donna Mae (Norris) Gove

Donna Mae Norris Gove, 86, of Liberty Residence II of Wadsworth, OH, formerly of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away August 18, 2016. She was born on November 15, 1929 to Clarice and Damon Norris. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1947 and married Ronald F. Gove on May 3, 1949.
 
She was initially employed at Eastern Central Motor Carriers and retired as Secretary from the Summit County Children Services Board after twelve years. She was previously a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, and a lifetime member of the Smithville Historical Society. But her passion in recent years was visiting casinos in the area.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Gove Sr. and granddaughter, Ashley Mae Gove.
 
Survivors include her five children, Randy, of Palm Coast, FL, Ronald Jr. (Patricia) of Norton, Jolene (Dan) White of Smithville, Kathi (Steve) Frantz of Wadsworth, and John (Tammy) of Creston; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by sisters Betty Gove of Cuyahoga Falls and Sally Kelly (Allen) of Streetsboro.
 
There will be no calling hours. Committal service and inurnment will be held Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:15 AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville alongside of her husband, Ronald. Officiated by Pastor Bud Votaw.  Please arrive at the cemetery at 11:05 AM.
