Elliot J. Metz Sr.

Elliot J. Metz Sr., age 65, passed away December 11, 2017. He was born on January 5, 1952 in Charleston, WV. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports, and spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his mother, Ruthie Weuthrick; father, Holly J. Sleath; step-father, Warren Weuthrick; sister, Loraine Pratt; and brother, Robert Metz.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Charalet; children, Sheila Metz, Juanita Metz, and Elliot Metz Jr.; grandchildren, Caroline Parry, Ronald Kennedy, Zacharia Parry, James Parry, Joseph Parry, Jacob Battering, Shane Battering, Dakota Battering, Job Parry, Basin Parry, Abigil Metz, Elliot Metz Jr. III, and Makai Metz; previous sons-in-law and daughter-in- law, Larry Battering, Kelly Metz, and David Parry; siblings, Tisha Harris, Reva (Vince) Panetta and Okey  Metz; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Elliot’s Aide, Patricia Henry, for all of her care and support.

The family will receive friends, THURSDAY, December 14, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at Trinity Church of God, 1752 Williams Street, Cuyahoga Falls. Funeral Services will be held, FRIDAY at 1:30pm at the church with Pastor Fred Webb officiating. Entombment will take place at Lakewood Cemetery, Akron. Arrangements by Cox-McNulty Funeral Home-- BARBERTON.
