George A. Metarko

George A. Metarko, age 78, passed away July 11, 2016.  He was born May 13, 1938 in Akron, Ohio.  He was a member of the Bethany Friends Church and the Wadsworth Eagles.  He retired from Ferriot Company as a master machinist.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Marla.

Survived by wife, Barbara; children, Tami (Mark) Brown, Terri Shroyer, Toni (Kurt) Kallenborn, and Timothy Metarko; step-son, Donald (Arleen) Wiesen; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Alice Suchka.

Funeral service will be Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St., Wadsworth with Pastor Brian Cowan officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 5-7 PM.
