Hobert "Herb" Cole

Hobert “Herb” Cole, age 89, passed away August 16, 2016. He was born on March 14, 1927 in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. He was a former member of Akron Baptist Temple and served in the U.S. Navy as a CB during World War II. Retired carpenter, truck driver and beloved employee of Cox-McNulty Funeral Home.

Preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Nancy.

Survived by his wife of 70 years, Barbara Naragon-Cole; children, Gary L., Bridget Snyder (Ernie); 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Connie Walker; brother, Hubert Cole; brothers-in-law, Hal Naragon (Joanne), Tom Naragon (Barbie) and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, August 18, 2016 form 6-8pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. Graveside services, with full military honors, will take place, at 11:00 am on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 2580 Romig Road, Akron.

Memorials may be made in Herb’s name to PAWSibilities Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd. Twinsburg, OH 44087.
