Irene T Kerpcza

Irene T. Kerpcza went home to Our Lord, on Friday, February 16, 2018.
Irene was a lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio, and worked in the business Office of Goodrich Tire during the 1950’s. She is survived by family and friends, and is preceded in death by her husband Joe Kerpcza, sister Jean Samerdak, parents Nicholas and Helen Matczak, grandparents and extended family.
Irene held many talents, but the most remembered were her many types of bakery and polish cooking, and exquisite egg decorating, which were on display at the annual Easter Egg Show held at Stan Hewitt, in Akron, and aired on the Entertainment Tonight Show during the 1980’s.
Calling hours will be from 9:00-10:00 AM on Thursday, February 22, 2018, with service at 10:00 AM at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St, Wadsworth OH 44281 (1 mile North of I76 on St Rt 94). Final resting place will be the Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Association in lieu of flowers in her memory.
