J. Carol Waskey

J. Carol Waskey, age 88, passed away December 23, 2017. She was born on March 20, 1929 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Albert and Edith Byrd.  Carol attended Liberty Freewill Baptist; enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, crocheting, and playing Bingo at the Nursing Home with her friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Leland S. Waskey and children, Leland J. and Judith A.

Survived by children, Charlene S. Wilt (Marlin R.), Stephen L. Waskey, and Alan R. Waskey (Margo); grandchildren, Angel, Marlena, and Troy; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held, SUNDAY, December 31, 2017 at 2:00pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 1:00-2:00pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
