Jackie L. (Nace) Derrick

Jackie L Derrick (Nace), age 67, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017. Born in Akron, Ohio July 4th, 1949. She was a graduate of Garfield High School, Class of 1967. 
Family and friends describe her as one of the most kind and giving people that a person could have the pleasure of knowing. She loved unconditionally and placed the needs of others long before her own. Nothing brought her more joy than being with her family and their kids and making sure they were all well fed. 
She is preceded in death by her father Lawrence Nace and sister Judy Danko, survived by her mother Joanne Nace, two sons Steven and Joseph, grandchildren Nicholas and Stevie, sister Robin Ashley, and her nieces, nephew, and great nieces and nephews. 
Funeral service will be Monday, April 3, 2017 at 4:00 PM at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton, OH 44203. Family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her memory to Cox-McNulty Funeral Home.
