James "Jim" E Ulichney

James “Jim” E. Ulichney, age 67, passed away August 17, 2016. Jim was born on September 16, 1948; was a lifelong resident of Barberton, employed by PPG, and retired from the City of Barberton Water Department. He was a Vietnam Veteran, served two tours, and was awarded the Purple Heart. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Pat; sister, Bernadene.

Survived by children, James M. and Debra (Jeff) Semko; sisters, Mary L. (Bob) Flesher and Pat (Ike) Ruckman; and extended family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held, Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 10:30am at Prince of Peace Parish, 1263 Shannon Avenue, Barberton, with Father Robert Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to mass from 9:30-10:30am at the church. Inurnment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH with full military honors.
