Leona Zickefoose Obituary

Leona F. Zickefoose, age 91, passed away January 31, 2018. She was born on August 11, 1926 in Big Springs, WV. Leona attended Wadsworth Church of the Nazarene.

Preceded in death by parents, David & Anna Simmons; step-father, Francis Swesey; grandson, David; brother, Coy Simmons; and sisters, Eva Germano and Irene Greene.

Survived by husband of 70 years, Earl; children, Dale, Diane Zickefoose Maynard, and Dane (Julie); and grandchildren, Dale II, Bridgette and Justin.

Funeral services will be held, TUESDAY, February 6th at 11:00am at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. The family will receive friends, MONDAY from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm and Tuesday, one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00am. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron.
