Lila Weihrauch

Lila Elizabeth Weihrauch, age 94, passed away March 19, 2017. She was born December 6, 1922 in Akron, Ohio to Earl and Bessie Taylor.

Lila was married to George Weihrauch on September 5, 1947. She attended Eastern Nazarene College and attended First Baptist Church/Church of the Brethren in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She worked for Ohio Match Company, J.C. Penny, and most recently Arby’s where she was the lobby lady.
Preceded in death by husband, George, and sister, Ardis Greer.

Survived by daughters, Geraldine Weihrauch of Wadsworth, Ohio and Dianne Weihrauch of Marion, Iowa; son, Dale (Pat) of the Philippines.

Memorial Service will be Tuesday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church/Church of the Brethren (aka Church on Northland), 5200 Northland Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA, Pastor Jerry Bertelson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 28 at 5:30 p.m. (First Baptist Church/Church of the Brethren). Graveside Service will be Friday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m., Woodlawn Cemetery, 200 College St, Wadsworth, OH.
