Marcella Yerger

Marcella Yerger was called home, February 16, 2017. She was born on June 9, 1933. Marcy dearly loved her family and faith family at Hope Lutheran Church. The world has lost a beautiful, caring person. She shared God’s love at every opportunity she was given.

Though we mourn our loss, we rejoice in knowing she is spending eternity with her Savior, Jesus, and those who have gone before her.

Preceded in death by her mother, Lenore Hamilton; sisters, LeDema Richards and Shelvagene Wells.

Marcy is survived by husband, Clair; children, Michael Hawkins (Robyn), Laura Ford (Art), and Beth Hawkins; grandchildren, Chris Hawkins (Brooke), Jennifer Ottovegio (Jay), Andrew Hawkins, Benjamin Ford and Alex Ford; great-grandchildren, Vivian and Holden Hawkins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Hope Lutheran Church, 999 Portage Lakes Drive, Akron. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm, Monday, February 20, 2017 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton, and one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am at the church. Interment will take place at Manchester Cemetery, Clinton, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made in Marcy’s name to Hope Lutheran Church, 999 Portage Lakes Drive, Akron, Ohio 44319.
