Mary Jolan Kallai

Mary Jolan Kallai (nee: Witschey), age 35, passed away July 2, 2017. Born on May 8, 1982, she was a lifetime resident of Wadsworth and graduated from Wadsworth High School in 2000. She was involved in Medina County 4H where she was a participant and a judge. In 2004, Mary graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She taught third-grade at Sacred Heart School, but her most important role was that of a wife and mother.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Edith Witschey and Donald and Elizabeth Brown; father-in-law, Michael C. Kallai Sr.; and brother-in-law, Michael Kallai Jr.

Mary is survived by her high school sweet-heart of 17 years, Zachary; beloved children, Noah, Alex, Emma and Leo; parents, Robert G. and Patricia Witschey; siblings, Erin, Robert (Amanda), Tricia, and Jessie; mother-in-law, Jennifer; brother-in-law, Joseph; sister-in-law, Vanessa (Patrick) Williams; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

Mary touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am, FRIDAY, July 7, 2017 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1676 S. Cleveland- Massillon Road, Copley. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00pm THURSDAY, July 6, 2017 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for the children’s education fund.
