"Together Again"

Our dear beloved mother and grandmother (Mommom), Mescal Lurea Grimm Smith went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 20, 2015. 
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Opal (Putnam) Grimm, and her husband, Andrew “Jim” Smith.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters Sandra (Marty) Brumagin and Andrea (Jesse) Lamb; son, Andrew J. Smith II of Barberton; grandchildren, A.J. and Spencer Brumagin, Christina, Ashley, and Jesse Lamb, Clarissa, Andrew J. Smith III, and Olivia Smith; sister, Sandra (Ray) Harper of West Virginia; and brother, H.R. (Debie) Grimm of Texas.
 
Mescal was active in the Daughters of the American Revolution.  She was also known as Queen Lady Diva among her Red Hats group, Sassy Sisters.  Also volunteered at the V.A. Clinic in Akron.
 
Cremation has taken place.  There will be a celebration of life service at Calvary Wesleyan, 139 31st St. S.W. (Cleveland-Massillon Rd.), Barberton on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 12:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to help with expenses to Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, OH  44203.
