Noel "Gene" E. Walker

Noel “Gene” E. Walker, age 75, passed away December 27, 2017. He was born on September 14, 1942 in Grantsville, WV to the late Poe & Mildred Walker. He worked at Midwest Rubber. Noel enjoyed hunting, sports, and going to auctions.

Preceded in death by his parents, Poe and Mildred Walker; sister, Virginia Ford; brother, Charles; and grandson, Austin.

Survived by his sons, Jim (Lorreen), John (Karen), Jeff (Deanna), and Shon; daughters, Tina (Dale) Hoover and Nola (Dion) Young; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Donald, sisters, Janet (Jack) Walker and Brenda Sue (Larry) Swisher; mothers of his children, Florence Hout and Jean Furcsik; former wife, Carolyn Francis; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends, FRIDAY, December 29, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on SUNDAY, December 31, 2017 at the Five Forks Community Church, Route 16, Five Forks, WV. Burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pastor Alfred Hickman will officiate.
