Sharon L. Dungan

Sharon L. Dungan went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 22, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. She devoted her life to serving her Lord Jesus Christ as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and someone who loved children.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Phillips. She is survived by her husband, Garrett Jr.; son, Garrett III; granddaughter, Gracie; mother, Louise Phillips; brother, Joseph (Brenda) Phillips; sisters, Carolyn (Tim) Vargo, Michele (Steve) Lichtenstiger, and Charlene (Chris) Miller; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Laughlin and Barb Dungan; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be Friday, September 25, 2015 at 10:00 am at Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton with long-time friend, Pastor Roger McCauley, officiating. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Family will receive friends today, Thursday, from 6-8 pm.
