Vicki Lee Nelson

Vicki Lee Nelson, 61 of Barberton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at her residence on November 22, 2015.

She was born in Barberton, Ohio September 26, 1954. The daughter of Kenneth Nelson Sr. and Princetta Barthalow.

She is survived by her sons; Brian Barthalow of Toledo, Jesse (Jennifer) Collmar of Akron, and Clinton (Jodi) Burbridge of Mount Vernon. A brother Kenneth “Burr” (Jackie) Nelson of Akron, sisters; Laura McKee and Julie Summerville of Norton; two nephews, John and Dylan McKee; and one very special grandson, Leeland Collmar.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barb Wakefield; and brother, Robert Nelson.

“Grammy” enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandson and was very proud of her sons no matter what. Her love for them was unequaled. She was always there to listen to your problems, and would give you her undivided support without passing judgment. She also shared a very close bond with her siblings and they were always there to lend each other a helping hand, regardless of the situation. She shared love with everyone she knew, and she was truly a kind spirit. Some of her favorite things were her many times on the beaches of Florida, spending time wither her loved ones, riding Harleys, and the love of her feline companions. Vicki Lee will be missed greatly and her memory will be cherished by many.
