Wanda Elaine Brown

Wanda Elaine Brown, age 89, formerly of Wadsworth, OH, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017.
 
Elaine was born in Barberton, OH on January 4, 1928 and was raise in Norton and was a graduate of Norton High School. She was currently residing in Lebanon, Ohio at Otterbein Senior Living Center.
 
Preceded in death by her parents, Ray & Wanda Moore; husband of 60 years, Thomas E. Brown; brothers, Milo Moore, William Moore (Ruth), and George Moore (Patricia); and sister, Chrystal Baker (Lawrence). 
 
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce L. Smith & Cathy A. Butler (Ray); grandchildren Dr. Wenda L. Quidort (Aaron), Craig D. Smith & Jennifer J. Peckham (Caleb); two great-grandchildren; nephews & nieces.
 
Elaine was a devout Christian and a former member of The Chapel, Akron, Ohio.
She loved her family, Jesus, teaching Sunday school, participating in Bible studies, singing in the choir, camping, boating, bowling, walking and vacationing with family and friends.  Mom, “Nana”, was deeply loved and will be terribly missed.
 
Funeral Services will be held, SATURDAY, October 7, 2017 at 11:00am at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 10:00-11:00am at the funeral home. Private interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron.
