"Together Again"

Wilma L. Purvis, aged 96, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2016. She was born January 2, 1920 in Akron, Ohio. She retired from Barberton Citizens Hospital with over 50 years of service as both a supervisor in billing and as a volunteer.

She was a lifetime member of Park United Methodist Church in Kenmore. She enjoyed spending time with friends and great-grandchildren as well as donating her time to various causes throughout the years. She was the leader of the Barberton Volunteer Choir for many years and also volunteered her time to Meals on Wheels.

She was preceded in death by husband of 76 years Elmer, parents, Florence and Albert Clark; daughter, Carol Storad; brothers, Donald and Albert Jr; and sister, Norma Elfrink.

She is survived by son-in-law Anthony Storad; four grandchildren, Mark (Marisol) Storad, Anthony Jr (Jamie) Storad, Ann (Alex) Abel, John Storad; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren

Special thanks to the staff at Pleasant Pointe, Pleasant View and Summa Hospice for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Park United Methodist Church, 2308 24th St SW, in Kenmore. Rev. Pamela Buzalka officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
