Barbara J. Foster (nee Rankin)

Barb Foster passed away on August 29, 2018, at the age of 73 years.

Barb was born May 3, 1945 in Akron, and retired from Akron General Hospital laundry department after 25 years of service.

Barb is survived by her children, Cheryl Foster, and Thomas (Mary) Foster, Jr., grandchildren, Crissy, Charisse (Chris), Jenna, Brandon, Will, and several nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Barb was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Thomas. Sr., daughters Carol Abicht and Bonnie Ferrebee, parents Martha and Arlee Rankin, and six siblings.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4th from 1:00-2:00pm at Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave. Barberton, with funeral service to follow. Entombment will be immediately after service at Rose Hill Burial Park in Akron.
