Brent Powell Obituary

Brent Kay Powell, age 76, passed away January 27th, 2019 at his Barberton home.

Brent lived a full life as a Navy veteran and afterwards worked as a Sheriff's Deputy for 17 years.

Brent was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Vionna Powell; brother, Jeff Powell and sister, Carmen (Vonnie) McFadden.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life of 53 years, Gloria Powell; daughters Tammy Frost, Wendy Jones (Roy Jones), Carrie Griffin (Tom Griffin), and Terrie Hershberger (Danny Hershberger); grandchildren Jamie, Katelyn, Jessica, Alexis, Tyler, Alexandria, Jeremy, Dakota, Karli, Daniell, and Brandon; and great-grandson, Zane

There will be no services for Brent.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please send courtesies to Akron Children’s Hospital in his name.
