Cliff Willison, age 92, passed away quietly on August 17, 2018. Born in Cleveland Ohio on August 1, 1926, he resided in Barberton, OH. A WWII Veteran he served on a Navel Subchaser in the Pacific theater for the U.S. Navy. He became a professional Truck Driver, owning his own trucks and retired at age 62. He loved playing cards at the Moose, Legion and Slovene Center. He also loved to dance the Polka. He will be missed by all those who knew him and his dry sense of humor.
Preceded in death by wife, Verne Willison and daughter, Sandra Laslo-Pennington. Survived by sons, Jeff (Katie) Willison and Chris (Traci) Willison; daughter, Lynn (Jeff) Simballa; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and his very special friend and companion, Maryanne Osolin.

The family will receive friends, THURSDAY, August 30, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. Inurnment will take place, FRIDAY at 12:30pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville. Please meet at cemetery gate at 12:20pm.
