Daniel Brennan

Daniel “Danny” Brennan passed away after a brief illness on July 31, 2017 at age 62.

Preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Ethel (Hoffman) Brennan, Danny is survived by his loving wife, Sandra, of Wadsworth; sisters Elizabeth “Boots” (Al) Bollas and Bev Brennan; nephews, Nick (Lindsey) Bollas, Jon (Maria) Bollas, niece, Haley Stewart; sisters-in-law Linda (Dennis) Jacobs, Audrey (Bob) Canfora and niece Kimberly Liska.  Danny will also be dearly missed by many more loving relatives and treasured friends.

Born and raised in Akron, Danny attended Immaculate Conception in Kenmore and graduated from Hoban High School. He proudly served six years in the U.S. Navy, and then worked as a wireless engineer for many years.

Danny enjoyed watching and rooting for The Cavs, The Tribe and The Browns with many close friends.  Playing golf was his particular passion.  He and his wife Sandy loved to travel and recently returned from their dream vacation in Ireland.  Many beautiful and lasting memories were created which will forever remain in Sandy’s heart.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00noon on WEDNESDAY, August 9, 2017 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 260 Broad Street, Wadsworth. The family will receive friends, from 4:00-7:00pm TUESDAY at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville.

Memorials may be made in Daniel’s name to One of A Kind Pet Rescue, 1929 W. Market Street Fairlawn, OH 44313 or a charity of your choice.
