Deborah Jackson

Deborah Jackson, age 60, passed away December 21, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born on January 1, 1957 and was raised in St. Clairsville, Ohio. She resided in Aurora, Ohio for the previous 33 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and very proud grandmother. Her talents were many, and she prided herself in her work as an artist of many genres but most notably graphic illustration and her skills and time spent in early childhood education nurturing the minds of many generations that came after her. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Shutek. Deborah is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Jackson III; children, Stephanie Merriman and Emily Jackson (Daniel Rogers); grandchildren, Kaylee Merriman, Mary Merriman, Bishop Merriman, and Westley Rogers; mother, Connie Shutek; siblings, Eddie (Carolanne), Jude Hollingshead, and Rick; numerous extended family and friends. The family invites anyone that wishes to remember her legacy to her Memorial Service. Family and friends will be received WEDNESDAY, December 27, 2017 from 12:00pm- 1:00pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth, OH. The memorial service is to follow directly at 1pm.
