Edward K Muczynski

Edward K. Muczynski, age 86, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2017, with his family by his side.

Edward was born in Chicago, Illinois to Stanley and Marie Muczynski, and resided in Wadsworth since 1971.

He was a US Navy veteran and served from 1948-1952. He was a long distance truck driver for P.I.E. and Roadway receiving an award for driving 3.5 million miles accident free.

Edward was a longstanding member of The Knights of Columbus spanning over 50 years and attaining status of Fourth Degree Knight. He also loved to travel, play golf, play cards, and go fishing.

He is preceded in death by his sons, Michael, Gregory and Adam.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Elaine (nee: Bernath); daughter, Diana (TA) Armour of Augusta, MI; son, Paul (Debby) of Wadsworth; daughters-in-law, Brenda of Wadsworth and Eileen McMullin of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Pauline Siudut of Chicago, IL; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held FRIDAY, November 10, 2017 at 12:00pm at Sacred Heart Church, 260 Broad Street, Wadsworth. The family will receive friends, THURSDAY, November 9, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. Burial with full military honors will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
