Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Jane Osborn

Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Osborn (nee: Burgenson), age 92, passed away August 14, 2018 at Hospice of Medina County, surrounded by her family.
Betty was born on October 25, 1925 in Bedford to the late Karl and Ann Burgenson. She married Delbert Osborn on May 4, 1957 and moved to Sharon Center where she lived and made her home for the last 51 years.
She was very involved in the community and was willing to help those in need. She loved to help on the farm that she and Del bought and worked. She was a life-long member and past President of the Sharon Women's Club where she was instrumental in starting the Betty J. Osborn Scholarship Fund for Highland high school students. She enjoyed sewing and also delivered for Meals on Wheels.
Betty is survived by her sons, Karl (Lisa), Russell, and Jim (Jennie); grandchildren, Matthew and Samantha.
The family will receive friends, SUNDAY, August 19, 2018 from 2:00-4:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, MONDAY, at 11:00am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 260 Broad Street, Wadsworth. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to the Betty J. Osborn Scholarship Fund.
