Gwendolyn Fae Trapp

Gwendolyn Fae (nee: Lauby) Trapp, age 83, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 23, 2017. She was born at home on the family farm on October 4, 1933.

She is survived by her husband Carl, whom she married on June 7, 1953. She is also survived by Gwendolyn “Wendy” (Rick) Brand, Wilma (Jonathan) Johnson, Robert, Richard (Linda), and Wanda (Tim) Logsdon; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Lois Tipple who lives in Washington.

She loved and worked for her Lord She was a life-long member of Sharon Camp Meeting Association. She played organ and piano at every church she attended. She held a variety of jobs, but her career was X-Ray technician and lab assistant from which she retired in 1991.

Her hobbies were reading, embroidery, ceramics, knitting and crocheting for which she won several ribbons at the Cuyahoga County Fair.

Services will be held at 12:00pm on TUESDAY, August 1, 2017 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St. Wadsworth, OH 44281 with Pastor Raynard Martin officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on MONDAY, July 31, 2017 and one hour prior to the service on TUESDAY from 11:00am- 12:00pm. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Sharon Camp Meeting Association, PO Box 186 Sharon Center, OH 44274.
