Harry Terrill Obituary

Harry M. Terrill, age 91, passed away January 5, 2019 following a brief illness.  He was born in Buffalo, NY on July 10, 1927. He was lovingly raised from the age of 4 and later adopted by his aunt, Ressa Terrill Cook and uncle, Byron Cook. He owned and worked alongside his wife, Nancy, for many years at the family business, Cook Hardware.  Harry graduated from Mt. Vernon Academy, class of 1945, and was privileged to have attended his 70 year class reunion 3 years ago. He was a long time member of the Barberton Seventh-day Adventist Church.   

Preceded in death by his wife of 68 ½ years, Nancy; parents, Ralph and Mabel; beloved son, Byron Terrill; aunt and uncle/ parents, Ressa & Byron Cook; brothers, Ralph, Paul, and Tom

Harry is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Gary) Rowles; sons, Keith (Linda) and Harry (Patti); sister, Dolores Troiano; daughter-in-law, Janet Terrill; grandchildren, Shelly (Ian) Readman, Casey (Julie) Terrill, Amy (Greg) Wearsch, Jason Yancura, Justin Terrill, Cody (Catie) Terrill, Ethan (Anushka), Olivia and Abigail Terrill; 5 great-grandchildren; special friend, and neighbor, Chris Brewer. 

A special thank you to Pebble Creek Rehab 360, especially the “girls” on the 800 wing, for the special care they provided to Harry in his last few weeks.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on MONDAY, January 14, 2019 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave in Barberton, Ohio followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends, SUNDAY from 2:00-5:00pm at the funeral home.
