Helen "Baba" Boughman

Helen Boughman, "Baba" age 88, went to her Heavenly home on May 2,2018. She was born and raised in Barberton and was an active parishioner at Grace Brethren Church in Norton. Helen spent the past 8 years in Ashland where she became active with Calvary Baptist Church. 
She married her late husband, Robert Boughman on March 19, 1949. Helen enjoyed cooking, baking, cake decorating and loved being outdoors and at church. 
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Provchy; husband, Robert; brothers, Mike, Carl, Daniel, Ellis, Andrew, David and Johnny.
Survived by daughters, Patricia (Daniel) O'Connell, Vickie (Michael) Hoover and Janet (JD) Smith; grandchildren Jen Hageman and William Morris; five great grandchildren; siblings, Paul Provchy, Mary Evans , Violet Wamsley; sister-in-law, Joyce Tultz (Joe); numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Pockets. 
Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Youth Ministries or Ashland County Dog Shelter.
