Hester L Marcum

Hester L. Marcum, 76, passed away peacefully January 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born May 13, 1941 in Kermit, West Virginia. Hester loved the outdoors and spending time with her family. All her family fondly remembers walks in the woods, picking berries and hunting with her for frogs and turtles. She was the only person we knew that could walk through the yard and find a handful of four leaf clovers.

Hester was preceded in death by her mother and father; six siblings; and her infant son Jeffery.

She is survived by her ex-husband but, life-long friend Daniel Marcum; her daughters, Sharon and Rosa (Dave); her sons, Jamie and Ervin (Melissa); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held, THURSDAY, January 11, 2018 at 2:00pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth, with Chaplain Don Bolich officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior from 12:00-2:00pm at the funeral home.
