John A. Krizovski, age 93, died peacefully Thursday, August 2, 2018. He was born in Johnstown, PA August 5, 1924, and resided in Barberton, OH.
John served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired from the Seiberling Tire and Rubber as a diesel engineer. He was a private pilot in 1975, and taught flying lessons at Sherman Field in Norton, OH. One of John’s passions was riding his Harley, especially on a yearly trip to The Indianapolis 500 with his buddies.
John had a miraculous memory. Pick a subject, and he could tell you all you wanted to know. He will be dearly missed. RIP
John was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; brother, Frank; and sisters, Ann and Susan.
Survived by nieces, nephews, step children, and friends.
Committal service with full military honors will be Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44270. Please arrive at the cemetery by 2:20 pm.
