Karen Townsend

Karen Townsend, age 75, of Barberton died March 10, 2018. She was born June 24, 1942 to the late Lee Burton and Wanda Townsend in Glenville, WV.

Karen graduated from Norton High School. She started her career at B&W. She later moved on to Ohio Bureau of Employment Services in office administration and ended at Consolidated Freightways.

Together with Dick Holderbaum, she had four children, Michael, Laura, Jennifer, and Julie.

Preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael; and grandson, Jeremy.

Survived by children, Laura (Henry) Prager, Jennifer Holderbaum (Chris Moore), and Julie Holderbaum; grandchildren, Jessica (DJ) and Jacob (Alsoia); great grandchildren, Ava and Carter; and brother, Everson (Nancy)
Townsend.

Cremation has taken place. The family would like to memorialize their mother in private.
