Martha "Marti" Starcher

Proverbs 31:10 “Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.”

Marti Starcher, age 69, of Norton, went home to be with her Lord. She fought a good fight and won the race. Mart, was a faithful servant to our Lord, due to her obedience, she was the lead of 200 souls being won to the Lord. She was a faithful member of Spiritual Temple of Praise, which she was the head Deaconess and board member.

Preceded in death by her parents; sister; and son, Scott.

Survived by her husband, William; grandchildren, Nickol and Scotty Starcher; great-grandson, Tate; W.V. kids, Scott and Sabrina Farnsworth; brother-in-law, Wayane (Beth) Starcher;; sister, Pat (Don) Day; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm on MONDAY, May 15, 2017 at Spiritual Temple of Praise, 369 7th Street NE, Barberton. Pastors Ron Chaffman Jr. and Robert Scott Farnsworth will officiate. The family will receive friends, two hours before the service from 10:00am-12:00pm at the church. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron.
