Phyllis Sue Liska
Lyndhurst – Phyllis S. Liska, 72, passed away May 15, 2018.
Born April 10, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio, Phyllis taught for the Cleveland schools for over 30 years. Phyllis was an avid Mahjong player, Disney fan, and supported children's charities.
Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Mamie Silver, husband, Frank Liska; she is survived by her sister Barbara Panfil, step daughter Kimberly Liska, grandson Logan Liska, nieces Janene Panfil, Stacy Panfil-Parsley, and nephew John Panfil and their families; as well as her loving friends.
Funeral services will be held, Wed., May 30, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St., Wadsworth. Burial at 1:15 pm at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273. Shiva will be held on May 31, 2018 1:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. at the Sherri Park Party Room, 2111 Acacia Park Drive, Lyndhurst. A Memorial Tribute for Phyllis may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation (www.parkinson.org) or mailed to 200 SE First Street, suite 800, Miami, Florida, 33131.
