Russell Norman Luck, 82 of Barberton, was ushered into the loving arms of Jesus April 2, 2019. His children describe him as a kind hearted man, who never hesitated to give to someone in need and would give the shirt off his back if asked. They truly feel that was one of the many positive things he passed on to them and they were very proud to call him Dad. He worked various jobs from a sealtest milkman to a Sunoco gas tank driver. Upon retirement came his favorite job as the “The Head Boss” for Barberton Tree Service Inc. His authority, at times, outranked even the owner/founder, his eldest son Keith. You could have found him delivering mulch for Mulch Makers or teaching the employees at BTS “how to do their jobs in the quickest and smartest ways”. Russ was a spirited Magic’s fan for all sports and coached little league in town leading many teams to championships. He also played softball way into his 70’s on Silver league teams in Barberton and in Florida. He was welcomed into Heaven by many loved ones. He is survived by his loving companion of 35 years, Irene Walker, Sisters Laurel Hughes & Maxine Breitensine, Son Keith (Barb) Luck, Son Kevin (Girlfriend Joyce) Luck, Daughter Kimberly (Doug) Miller Daughter Kelly (Doug) Hesche, Grandchildren Kristy (Paul) Zentiska, K.C. (Lisa) Luck, Kelsey (Aaron) Brooker, Dana (Damian) Riffle, Lauren Luck, Lyndsay (Devon) Howdershelt, Kayla Miller, Collin (Fiancé Julie) Miller, Chelsea (Zac) Klotz, Teddy Robb, Austin Bilinovich, “business granddaughter” Lisa Devenport, Great-Grandchildren, Kenidee, PJ, Kyle, Kaydi Grace, Talon, Liam, Ella, Chloe, Natalie, Mason, Peyton, Noah, Danika, Deklin and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, a charitable contribution may be made to the Employees of Barberton Tree Service Scholarship Fund held at the Barberton Community Foundation 460 West Paige Avenue, Barberton OH, 44203.
