Sally Anna Rager

Sally Rager began her journey in life May 23, 1943 in Akron, Ohio and lived in Barberton most of her 75 years where she ran Sally’s Barber Shop for 30 years. She peacefully passed away in her sleep November 11, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin “Louie” Rager and then her loving companion, Ronald A. Zonker. She was also preceded in death by her eldest son, Melvyn L. Rager; her sister, Eva M. Jenkins and her brother, Ralph Jenkins. She is survived by her brother, Walter (Nancy) Jenkins; sister-in-law, Alice Jenkins; daughter-in-law, Denise M. Rager; daughters, Justine (Pat) Rasicci, Christine (Alejandro) Garcia, son Daniel (Laura) Rager and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Sally served as an Auxiliary officer for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

The family will receive friends, FRIDAY, November 16th from 9:00-10:00am at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. A Memorial Service to celebrate Sally’s life will follow at 10:00am. Inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron.
