Sherman Crowder Obituary

Sherman Crowder, age 86, went home to be with the Lord January 11, 2019. He was born February 7, 1932 to John and Ida Crowder. He was the loving husband of 64 years to June; Dad to Sherman (Tina), Mike (deceased) (Mona), Fay Eddy (Terry), Mark (Karen), and Katrina Huba (Jim). Known as “Pap” to 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Sherman’s greatest passion was serving the Lord, going to church, spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was a member of the Apostolic Church of Barberton for 40 years and retired from Teamsters local #407. Special thanks to James Perry, Jesse Short, Linda Crowder, and the ministers at the Apostolic Church of Barberton for their kindness through the years. The family would like to thank the Hospice of the Western Reserve staff for their care, especially Jarrett Ault.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 7 p.m. at Barberton Apostolic Church, 1717 W Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., Barberton, OH. 44203. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be private and held at Rose Hill Cemetery at 12:00 pm Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
