Stephen C Richardson

Stephen C. Richardson #SteveStrong, age 34, passed away April 22, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on March 8, 1984 in Barberton, Ohio, served in the United States Marine Corps., and was a Police Officer for Sugarcreek.  Stephen was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle.

Preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Alice Proehl; grandma, Carolyn Turner; and fathers-in-law, Vincent Collins and Scott Gougler.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 14 years, Jessica; cherished sons, Ty and Court; mother, Pamela Richardson; sister, Jennifer Colbetzor; niece, Mackenzie Colbetzor; nephew, Ronnie Colbetzor; and extended family.

Stephen was a courageous and true hero who will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends, THURSDAY, April 26 from 5:00-7:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. Funeral Services will be held, FRIDAY at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron.
