Terrence Demeter

Terrence Demeter, age 75 went home to be with his mother and father, Lucille and Stephen Demeter, and brother, Stephen Jr. on Saturday, September 8, 2018. Terry’s final days were spent at Aultman Compassionate Care Center surrounded by friends that he had touched, in some way, throughout his life.

Terry was born in Akron, Ohio on April 3, 1943 to Steve and Lucille Demeter. Terry grew up in the city of Barberton where he graduated from Barberton High School in 1962; he went on to graduate from Bowling Green University in 1966 with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. After graduation, Terry worked for IBM and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Akron, in which he retired.

Terry enjoyed spending his summer at Stoney Lake in Carrolton, Ohio and his winter’s at Kingsgate Park in Nokomis, Florida. Terry will be missed by all of his friends and the lives that he touched, and those that touched his, in Carrolton and Nokomis.

Memorial Services will be held, SATURDAY, September 15, 2018 at 5:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. Friends may call one hour prior from 4:00-5:00pm at the funeral home.
