Born January 28th 1953, the second youngest of seven children to Eugene and Rosemary, Terrence Michael Stuhldreher shared with the world his charity, love, ambitions, and wit for over 65 years until being called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 15, 2018.
Terry’s life and legacy has left an indelible mark on the countless people who have known him, loved him, and most importantly, been loved by him.
His accomplishments were as eclectic as his skills. They ranged from holding a Walsh Jesuit High School track record that stood for over twenty years, to solving the Rubik’s cube when most people still thought it was a hoax. As a horticulturist, he cross-bred his own vegetables to create something new every year that he shared with an almost forcible enthusiasm to everyone. As a chemical engineer, he received eight patents, and as a father he would hug tighter than his small frame should humanly allow.
But his greatest accomplishment, that which brought him the most pride and joy, was that of marrying his wife, Marilyn, of forty-three years. Together, they also raised seven children of their own.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents and brother Brady. He is survived by his wife Marilyn (fmr. Oser), and their children Renee (Keith) Davison, Steven (Katy), Lisa (Mark) Wapenaar, Alex (Tanya), Phillip, Paul, and Mary Lynn. He also leaves with us another seven in grandchildren (Thomas, Luke, Krystal, Bella, Olivia, Gabriel, and Ava).
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 19, 2018 at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 260 Broad St., Wadsworth, OH 44281 with Fr. Joseph Labak as celebrant. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 2-4 pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St., Wadsworth.
