Vincent "Vince" Harrison

Vince passed away at the age of 75 on August 4, 2017, after a two-year battle with Amyloidosis.  He was born in Webster Springs, WV.  He resided in Akron, Ohio most of his adult life.

He is proceeded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his Companion of 7 years Kay Pontius, daughters Annette Sepelak, Anita (Don) Perrott. Sons, Thomas Harrison, Joshua Harrison. Grandchildren Nathaniel Sepelak, Jacquelyn Perrott, and Nicholas Perrott.  He is also survived by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews (too many to list).

He was a proud father and grandfather. Vince was a self-taught musician. His main instrument was the bass guitar, but he was not limited when it came to any musical instrument. He entertained in the Akron, Cleveland area for many years. His band Vince Harrison and the Naturals, was the back-up band for Roy Rogers Jr. traveling around to different venues.  He was a purest when it came to country music.  Merle Haggard was his idol.

He was a self- employed master.  He owned and operated Vince's Auto Body in Akron.  He worked as an Insurance Adjuster for multiple Insurance Agencies.  He spent time traveling for the American Beverage Control Company to demonstrate the first computer beverage control system for restaurants and night clubs.

He will be truly missed by many.

Cremation services have taken place and burial will follow at a later date.

Memorial Services will be held at 7:00pm on THURSDAY, August 10, 2017 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.
