Ada "Jean" Freeman

Ada “Jean” Freeman, age 84, passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2022.

She was born on March 4, 1938 in Sutton, WV to the late Grover & Rosa Conrad.  On New Year’s Eve, 1964 she married her husband, Richard Freeman. Jean lived the majority of her life in Barberton, and was affectionately known around town as the “little old lady with the cart.” She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, and she never knew a stranger; everyone was her friend.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, and step-daughter, Pam.

Surviving are her sons, Charles & John; step-son, Paul; siblings, Helen, Bob, Ralph (Darlene), Randall (Lona), and Tina (Adam); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be held, FRIDAY, November 18, 2022 at 7:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Private burial will take place at a later date.
