Amber Dawn Stanley

On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, Amber Dawn Stanley, loving mother of two children, passed away suddenly at the age of 33.

Amber was born on May 13, 1987 in Medina, Ohio to Sharon and the late, William “Brian” Stanley. She was a 2006 graduate of Wadsworth High School. Along with her multi-decade sweetheart, Thomas Summers, they were raising their daughter, Riley, their son, Colton and niece, Qamari “Mari”.

For many years Amber lived in Wadsworth/Rittman area and previously worked at Bert’s Convenient Store (Rittman) and Bolich Mortuary Service (Wadsworth).

Amber was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and family and enjoyed every moment with them. Along with this, she was an avid sports mom and enjoyed coaching cheer. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.

Amber is survived by father of her children, Thomas Summers; mother, Sharon Toth; step-dad, Jerry Toth; sister, Jessica Stanley (Kedrick Brown); daughter, Riley; son, Colton; grandparents, Ken and Faith Wyant; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and family. She is preceded in death by her father, William “Brian” Stanley; grandparents, Charlene Stanley, Horace “Paul” Stanley, Linda Wyant, and Alice and George Toth.

The family will receive friends, MONDAY, April 5, 2021 from 11:00-1:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Don Bolich officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Seville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Brenda Johnson (Amber’s aunt) and sent to Cox- McNulty Funeral Home.
