Angela Sue Burnett

Angela Sue Burnett age 63, of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, surrounded by her family and loved ones after a short battle with cancer.

Angela was born on July 17, 1962, at Akron City Hospital to Loistene and Lee Burnett. She lived a vibrant and full life, finding joy in crafting, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. Angela had a special love for Harley-Davidson, tending to her flower beds, and relaxing by fires around her gazebo. She was known as a bit of a firecracker at times, but when it mattered most, she was a deeply loving and devoted woman. Above all, she cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who meant the world to her. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Loistene Burnett and Lee Burnett, along with many other cherished family members.

Angela is survived by daughter, Janessa N. Gregory (Rick); son, Brian M. Burnett ( Melanie); daughter, Cammie R. Good; grandchildren, Ashley Wade (Cody), Kyle Wade, John Frombaugh Jr., Mason W. Burnett, and Sophie Burnett; great-grandchildren, Bryson and Thor; siblings, Joey Honeycutt (Edna), Lee A. Burnett (Teresa), Reva A. Knops (Will), and W. Ray Burnett (Melissa); nieces, Danielle and Loisann; nephews, Ryan and Christopher; other loved ones Robert, Katlyn and Brooke Day; one special aunt, Patty Jean; and many other relatives and friends. 

Angela will be remembered for her strong spirit, her loving heart, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Calling hours for Angela will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton, OH. Funeral services will follow immediately at the funeral home.
